Marion lost her father to the “German New Medicine” of Ryke Geerd Hamer

Marion Piat, who lost her father to the German New Medicine of Ryke Geerd Hamer, has decided to tell her story and start a blog to warn people for this dangerous sect. We have translated her story and posted it here:

“It started in October 2007 when my father was on a mission in Guatemala. One morning he was no longer able to urinate, a kidney stone blocked the bladder: emergency operation. The urologist who operated on him noticed the prostate had an abnormal shape and appearance. Following were: biopsy, blood tests, pessimistic diagnosis, prostate cancer.

Canadians Beware! Biologie Totale: Hamer’s German New Medicine in Canada

Claude Sabbah

The New German Medicine (GNM), Ryke Geerd Hamer’s extremely dangerous quackery, has landed in Canada under a new name: Biologie Totale, led by Claude Sabbah. (Pour lecteurs français, nous avons ajouté un resumé ci-dessous de ce que comprend la Biologie Totale.)

Although both Hamer and Sabbah claim that their theories are very different from each other, in reality they are very alike: both claim that all diseases, without exception, are caused by a sudden psychological trauma and can only be cured with either the GNM (says Hamer) or the Biologie Totale (says Sabbah).

Cancer Metastasis According to the Gospel of Tony Isaacs on Curezone

Want to know more about the doll? Click here.

Doll made of liver cancer cells

Many proponents of alternative medicine claim that surgical removal of cancer is very dangerous because it will cause the cancer to spread. Therefore, they strongly advise against any kind of surgery in case of cancer.

On Tony Isaacs’s Curezone, a forum member is asking advice on how to treat advanced liver cancer. The patient in question – the forum member’s mother – has previously undergone surgery. But according to Tony Isaacs it is precisely surgery that causes cancer to metastasize:

German New Medicine (GNM) and Debunking Hamer on Cancer Metastasis: Slam Dunk

Ryke Geerd HamerRyke Geerd Hamer, inventor of the German New Medicine, claims that there is no such thing as cancer metastasis.

Hamer also claims that cancer does not spread through the bloodstream.

However, these claims can easily be checked out, and that is just what jli, our pathologist, has done in this post.

Psychological Trauma, Stress, Cancer and German New Medicine: Time to Move on, Mr Hamer!

Very special Hamer medical deviceDe-licensed German physician Ryke Geerd Hamer claims he can cure cancer without surgery, radiation or chemotherapy.

He states that cancer is always caused by an (unexpected) emotionally traumatic event – which he calls a “biological conflict” and the only way to cure it is by solving this “conflict” through a special protocol of his own invention.

It isn’t exactly rocket science to establish that he is very wrong, both about the cause of cancer and the best way to treat it.

If  Hamer is right, then cancer and emotional trauma are always causally related. But science shows that this is not the case:

German New Medicine (GNM) and what Hamer Doesn’t Tell You: Six Stupid Questions on Cancer Metastasis

Caroline MerkolinThere is a website called ‘Learning German New Medicine.’ This website was built by Caroline Markolin, a Canadian Hamer proponent and is said to have received the master’s official approval. The website is the GNM’s learning zone, so to speak.

In the navigation on the left there is a tab called ‘Standard Theories’. When you click on that, you’ll see a tab on ‘Metastasis.’  The greater part of this page is filled with long, rambling and incoherent arguments of which I can make neither head nor tail, although I fear that it is exactly this pompous incomprehensibility which will impress a lot of people.

Six Questions

At the bottom of the page, Hamer tells us to ask ourselves six “common-sense questions” on metastasis.

Is It True That Only 2 Or 3 % Of Cancer Patients Survive Chemotherapy?

Luella May

No, it’s not true: currently, the average cancer cure rate is close to 60%.

Some time ago I happened to read a discussion on Tony Isaacs’s Curezone, on the best treatment for breast cancer. The thread was started by a woman who had just been diagnosed with breast cancer.

Tony Isaacs’ partner Luella May suggested the forum member paint her breasts with iodine to combat the cancer and advised strongly against surgery and all other forms of conventional cancer treatments:

Tullio Simoncini: Of Rodents, Research and Baking Soda

rodent of the weekIn the stats of this blog I can see from which pages people clicked to get to our blog. Sometimes I take a peek at these pages, as I did last week.

It landed me in a discussion on the ‘cancer therapy’ of Tullio Simoncini, which included some rather opinionated proponents of our Italian friend. A blog member named Byron stated that there was no evidence to prove Simoncini wrong, so I decided to tell them that research showed that sodium bicarbonate does nothing to stop cancer growth and was found even to stimulate it, giving the relevant link on our blog

Cancer, Fungus and Sodium Bicarbonate: Tullio Simoncini and How Not To Cure Skin Cancer

Atomic structure of iodineTullio Simoncini, a convicted ex medical doctor, ‘discovered’ that cancer is no more than the fungus candida albicans, and that it can be cured successfully with sodium bicarbonate. Skin cancer is also made of candida albicans, but can only be cured by local application of Iodine – not sodium bicarbonate, like all other cancers. Says Tullio Simoncini.

By the way, there is no scientific evidence whatsoever that cancer is caused by candida albicans or that it can be cured with sodium bicarbonate – or with iodine for that matter.

On his website Simoncini publishes ‘evidence’ of his miracle cures. Most of these stories lack all essential medical information and are therefore virtually meaningless. However, in some cases a minimum of information is given, making it possible to find out what really happened. Invariably, heavy manipulation of data is shown, as in this case of a gentleman from Australia who suffered from skin cancer on his scalp.
